In the private kindergarten “Gervuogė” education is organized based on the philosophy of holistic education.
The holistic education approach creates an environment for a learning
process that is organic, experiential, community-based, and responsive to
each child’s individuality. In organizing the educational process, attention is paid to all aspects of the personality: physical, emotional, social, and spiritual.
The goal of this educational philosophy is to encourage the development of
the person as a whole, including the ability to communicate, cooperate,
create, analyze, evaluate, and make decisions. Education is organized using various forms of artistic expression – dance, sensory activities, music, visual arts, theater, and languages.
Our goal is to consider the child’s innate abilities, their individual experience, and developmental
patterns to help the child develop independence, a healthy lifestyle, positive communication with
adults and children, creativity, understanding of the environment and their country, and the ability to learn.
Our mission is to ensure comprehensive preschool education, together with qualified, motivated teachers, to create favorable conditions for the development of the child’s authentic and individual qualities. In the kindergarten “Gervuogė,” children will acquire the necessary everyday life skills through age-appropriate educational programs that are based solely on the latest educational trends.
